Weather by Jenny Offill captures the mood of the moment, the pull of despair and the persistence of hope, in brilliant shards of moments #bookstagram #bookstagram #booknerd #bookfollowtrain
Jenny Offil’s Department of Speculation is a novel you can consume in a day, but it’s like slipping on the skin of another life. A love story with great beauty and suspense #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookrecommendations
The final book in Don Wilson’s magnificent trilogy about the tragedy of the drug war and the bloody price Mexico has paid to fuel American appetite for drugs #bookstagram #bookreaderscommunity #bookstagramfollowtrain
My novel Crazybugs is now crawling around Amazon warehouses
A burnished gem. Captures the magic and psychosis associated with isolation brilliantly #bookstagram #bookrecommendations

Limerick praising PA Senator Bob Casey’s work on health care

    Let us celebrate Senator Casey

For our health care he’s fighting like crazy

For the poor and the seniors

For our sick and our juniors

His commitment to us is amazing.

Limerick regarding Senator Pat Toomey’s failure to thrive

    Missing: Senator Toomey for days

    He’s avoiding constituents’ gazes

    All alone and at home

    In his critic-free zone

Invite only Town Halls are his craze

    Limerick w/r/t fake Philly monks

Fake monks have turned up in Philly, Seattle, and NYC. They sometimes give people trinkets and then demand cash:

There is now a great plague of fake monks.

In orange robes they attempt to sell junk.

    Cries Chief Buddhist, Theyre fake!

These bad monks take smoke breaks.

A real Buddhist knows nicotines bunk.
